I am Bernard Uwalaka, a passionate educator with over nine years of teaching experience and four years in academic administration. My journey into teaching began with a deep desire to make a lasting impact on young minds. Growing up, I was inspired by teachers who not only taught but truly cared. That motivation led me to pursue a degree in Education and several certifications, including TEFL, Global Education, and STEM Innovation.
Over the years, I have taught learners at various levels, from beginners to advanced, both in traditional classrooms and through online platforms like NativeCamp and Zoom. I have extensive experience with remedial teaching, particularly helping students who struggle with foundational concepts in English, math, and science. I focus on simplifying complex topics and rebuilding confidence in learners who have fallen behind.
My teaching style is interactive, student-centered, and adaptable. I use visuals, real-life examples, storytelling, and questioning techniques to make learning engaging and relatable. I also believe in continuous assessment and feedback to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
